In a day and age where our kids have so much to deal with, it is nice to know there are still people who will write great childrens books with heart.
Recently I bought some great childrens books to read on my kindle to a 5 year old.
The books all had a wonderful messages in them. These kindle books inspire children to reach out and be amazing stars in the future. This is the way any great childrens books should be.
One very distinct thing that ran into all the books was how children can perceive themselves and the world around them. These great childrens books also allowed kids to view a life lesson from a fantasy story. Lessons which even a great queen or a mermaid could overcome problems, to help others and themselves succeed.
What should great childrens books teach kids?
Values, sharing, learning and happiness are just a few things that should count in any great childrens books. There were a couple of stories n these kindle book downloads, I personally liked more than the others. However the same teaching and good deeds ran through all this series of great childrens books. Kindle has opened new doorways for budding authors. No longer do they have to submit a manuscript to be accepted as an author. Because of this, every now and then a writer comes along that we feel our kids can easily connect with. Great childrens books should make your kids ask questions about the story and want to hear it over again. I found this to be the case with Jacqueline Alcot’s “Children’s Star Collection” of books. Her stories were cute and easy to read. I have a 5 year old grandson who sat on my lap as I read the stories to him from the kindle. He loved them!
